OMNI Manufacturing M102 IoT Device for Electric Scooter Hire and Sharing Business
The M102 IoT device has been built-in 4G,GPS,BLE,power management,Gsensor,buzzer alarm and other functions.
The IoT device works with electric scooter lock app and server to reach smart abilities such as scanning code to lock and unlock the electric scooter,positioning,trajectory tracking,vehicle information collection and reporting, vehicle control, etc., to meet the needs of escooters sharing and rental business.
1, Automatic unlock and lock as an smart electric scooter lock
The IoT device sends the commands of unlocking and locking of escooters through electric scooter app or server,then the IoT device monitors the electirc scooter's controller.APP and server receives the result that was unlocked or locked successfully.
2, Sound alarm
IoT device will tell when locking,unlocking,vibration,power off,and when you're looking for the vehicle remotely.The built-in buzzer will get you all noticed with voice.And this can be customized.
3, 4G communication
The device uses the TCP communication protocal to connect to the clound server(with being mentioned here that SIM card is required to activate traffic) which can remotely unlock and lock the escooters,obtain power information,report positioning information,report alarm information,report vehicle's heartbeat,ontain firmware information,and firmware OTA upgrade.
4, BLE communication
The device can communicate with mobile APP with BLE and supports automatic lock and unlock and obtain vehicle's information and supports OTA upgrade as well.
5, Positioning
The smart device is built-in multi-module positioning module,which can obtain latitude and longitude coordinate information.It has two functional modes:Single positioning and tracking positioning.What is worth mentioning is it needs to receive the singnal of the sky satellite.Therefore,when the device is parked in basement,under the bridge,indoors,or under the viaduct,the positioning information can not be obtained.When the device is parked under a tree,on the side of tall building,or on a cloudy and rainy day,the phenomenon of positioning drift will occur.After the tracking and positioning is turned on,the first few coordinates may drift,but the server can handle it with filtering process.
6, The charging
The IoT device is built-in battery that can be charged,it's 1000mAH,the maximum charging current is 220mA. Note:when the built-in battery is fully charged (once the vehicle battery has run down), it can maintain a working time of 2-40 hours and it depends on the network condition and ambient temperature.
7, Vehicles' controller communication
The IoT device supports communication with vehicles' controller and monitors the controller to turn on and turn off the vehicles through commands and EN feets to get the informations of vehicle's power,cruising range,speed,gear,firmware version,riding time,riding mileage and supports 4G and BLE upgrade controller firmware.
8, Communication methods
There're two versions of communication methods of this IoT device.And the communication method of these two versions is UART.
Version one: It only connects the vehicles'controller;
Version two: Connects vehicles' controller and display.
