OMNI IoT has further optimized the OC32 smart bike lock to enhance its functionality, ensuring convenient rental and return for citizens.
Over the past three years,OMNI's client in Japan has expanded its public bike network from 20 stations and 1,500 bicycles in 2021 to 120 stations,
achieving full county coverage and a significant increase in rental volume.
Broader Coverage
As the demand for public transportation grows, the project has expanded the number of stations and introduced new bicycles each year.
The service area has continuously expanded, offering not only standard-sized bikes but also larger models and family bikes, catering to diverse
cycling needs.
Advanced Built-in IoT Smart Bike Lock Technology
With the goal of"developing smart transportation and promoting green travel,"the project has integrated internet,IoT,and big data technologies
to gradually enhance the intelligent management of public bicycles. The transition to dockless stations has been completed, all rental bikes now
support QR code rentals, and a"zero"deposit free-ride service has been introduced to further simplify the rental process, adding convenience
for citizens.
Enhanced Safety
The public bikes have been upgraded in appearance, design, and comfort.Compared to older models, the new bikes are more attractive and streamlined, equipped with two self-generating lights at the front and rear, which illuminate when the bike is in motion, improving the night-time
travel experience and safety for citizens. These improvements have been widely praised and popular among the public.
Previously, the limited number of stations and complicated rental process were issues, but with the addition of the OC32 smart bike lock,
there is now a station every few hundred meters, seamless rental and return, clean bikes, and attentive service. These advantages have been
greatly appreciated by many citizens.
The new generation of smart bike locks, paired with the upgraded rental bike app and new rental bikes, showcases the continuous progress
in public services aimed at improving citizens'lives.
